Imaginary Friends (i.F.) is the collaborative brainchild of Sacramento-based rapper Chuuwee and producer iMAGiNARY OTHER. United by their creative synergy and deep roots in the local Sacramento hip-hop scene, the duo has crafted a unique sound that blends psychedelic influences with robust hip-hop rhythms. Chuuwee, known for his sharp lyrical prowess, and iMAGiNARY OTHER, celebrated for his ethereal and textured productions, first showcased their potential with notable tracks like 2017's "Hollow Bastion." Characterized by its floating beats and a nebulous overlay of samples, the album narrates the tumultuous experiences of an acid trip gone awry, with Chuuwee’s storytelling complemented by the sole guest appearance from rapper Dceased.
