THE SINGLE
"Shining Brighter" is the first single from Death Tape 2 | We Gon' Need Each Other, bringing together the talents of Quelle Chris, Pink Siifu, and Denmark Vessey. This track, produced by Sebb Bash and Quelle Chris, serves as a powerful introduction to the project and is the only song from the album that will be available on DSPs. The collaboration captures the raw and unfiltered emotion that defines the Death Tape series, making it a fitting lead-in for what’s to come.

THE ALBUM
Death Tape 2 | We Gon' Need Each Other is the highly anticipated second installment in the Death Tape series, which began with the unannounced release of Death Tape 1 | Black Cottonwood in December 2022. Initially made available exclusively through Cavalier’s website, the project later saw a vinyl run via FXCKRXP and was finally released on DSPs in December 2023 through Old Soul Music. The unexpected success and acclaim of the first installment inspired Cavalier and Quelle Chris to continue the series.
The Death Tape series is more than just a collection of music; it is a cathartic and necessary exercise for Cavalier and Quelle Chris. Created in response to life’s challenges, these projects allow the artists to express and process their experiences in a way that resonates deeply with their audience.
